Happy Saturday! I love the weekends, it's when we get to have family time and this morning we had the added bonus of catching up with my wonderful dear friend Emily. She's such a beam of light and  always brings with her such joy & happiness, seeing her made my day. We picked her up at the station and decided to go for a little woodland explore around Blackwater which is one of my favourite areas in the New Forest. Due to the crazy weather forecast, I think everyone thought it'd be best to stay in because we basically had the whole area to ourselves! Pure Bliss! But the highlight was on the way there when I finally got to see the pigs! We were in the car and I had just mentioned maybe 5-10 seconds before how I still hadn't seen the pigs that are let loose in the forest for what they call Pannage and thought that I probably wouldn't this year, when Kevin exclaims, "Pigs!! Look!!" it couldn't have been more perfect!  We just happened to be in the right place at the right time and Nixie was absolutely in awe of them. Here's some snaps from our morning:
