Colder weather means more painting!

Messy days are the best days
We had such a great day yesterday! It began with a wonderful walk in the woods with some friends in the morning and then we had another body paint session in the afternoon! But this time I decided to do it in the conservatory rather than the living room, there's much less risk of things getting painted on that I don't want to get painted! (I actually don't know what i was thinking last time?!?)…
A perfect day to get messy
If we're not outside enjoying the outdoors then we're usually doing something creative indoors and today I let Nixie do some full on body painting. Besides playing in muddy puddles, getting herself all covered in paint is her next favourite thing to do. When we lived in London we used to do this all of the time but since we moved here we don't have the same open space to do it but today I was feeling brave and just told her some ground rules: Do NOT step off of the blue ground sheet, & do NOT touch the couch…
