Third camping trip of the year: A week of many shifts!
We just got back from our third camping trip of the year (June 9-16) and I know I said that the last one was one of the best weeks of my life well now i’m going to say that this one was! Every new camping experience seems to be better than the last & after over a month of no camping due to having too many photography projects and editing to do, this last trip couldn’t have come soon enough…
Nixie's Snow Day Part II
I got up at 4:30 with her Sunday morning, but I didn't feel tired when she woke me & I was actually in the mood to get up... From the blues to bliss
I feel such bliss right now and feel completely enveloped in the most beautiful love. It's 19:00 and Nixie has just fallen asleep and I'm right beside her enjoying listening to her sweet little breath, and I can't help but think how since having a child how the littlest of things can bring me such comfort and bliss. My day didn't start so good though, I was feeling incredibly tired and drained, I had wanted to go on a hike but just didn't have the energy to carry Nixie and deal with everything that a hike would entail…
Finally Saw the Piggies!
Happy Saturday! I love the weekends, it's when we get to have family time and this morning we had the added bonus of catching up with my wonderful dear friend Emily.... the highlight was on the way there when I finally got to see the pigs! We were in the car and I had just mentioned maybe 5-10 seconds before how I still hadn't seen the pigs that are let loose in the forest for what they call Pannage and thought that I probably wouldn't this year…
