If we're not outside enjoying the outdoors then we're usually doing something creative indoors and today I let Nixie do some full on body painting. But before she got to that stage she wanted me to do an outline of her body which I was more than happy to do and then as time went on the messier and more covered in paint she got. Besides playing in muddy puddles, getting herself all covered in paint is her next favourite thing to do. When we lived in London we used to do this all of the time but since we moved here we don't have the same open space to do it but today I was feeling brave and just told her some ground rules: Do NOT step off of the blue ground sheet, & do NOT touch the couch and i'm happy to say that the paint did not go anywhere it shouldn't have gone!
