We had such a great day yesterday! It began with a wonderful walk in the woods with some friends in the morning and then we had another body paint session in the afternoon! But this time I decided to do it in the conservatory rather than the living room, there's much less risk of things getting painted on that I don't want to get painted! (I actually don't know what i was thinking last time?!?)

I think it is so important to let Nixie get messy and have the freedom to create whatever it is she wants without a predetermined end result. To just allow her the space to go wherever her heart and mind guides her. Everyday she is either doing some sort of drawing, painting or creating something but I think these body paint sessions are probably her favourite!

I was a tad bit concerned with how i was going to get her upstairs into the bath without getting paint on the walls or anything else but I just asked her to cling to my neck and waist like a little spider monkey so that I still had my hands free and it worked like a treat, no signs of paint anywhere! Another success!
