Third camping trip of the year: A week of many shifts!
We just got back from our third camping trip of the year (June 9-16) and I know I said that the last one was one of the best weeks of my life well now i’m going to say that this one was! Every new camping experience seems to be better than the last & after over a month of no camping due to having too many photography projects and editing to do, this last trip couldn’t have come soon enough…
Camping season has begun!
We just had our very first camping trip of the year last week on March 22 when the campsite which had pretty much become our second home last summer opened up for the season. A week of many shifts
So many shifts have happened this week. We stopped nursing during the night & it's the 5th night where I have our super king all to myself! Nixie is asleep in her own bed in her own room & Kevin hasn't come home from work yet. It is such a strange feeling, she seems so grown up, like she's jumped 4 steps ahead! All About the Seaside

Our first just-the-two-of-us adventure of the year
This week marked the return of Kevin having to go back to work after 12 amazing days together. I was a little worried that it was going to be a bit of a hard transition for Nixie because she had been loving having him with us everyday and has become so attached to him. She wouldn't even let him out of her sight for a second! But she really surprised me with her maturity, the first morning she woke up and noticed that Kevin was gone, she just said, “daddy's at work, I miss him, I love him,” and just gave me the biggest cuddle and that was it! The last three days have been so wonderful, there's been no upsets, bad moods or anything…
A little seaside explore
